Less is more. You must understand this concept if you want to successfully learn to side surf in a hole and start spinning. And, if you want to learn how to loop and do bigger tricks, side surfing and spinning are key foundational skills.
When I work with clients the biggest mistake they make is going too fast and trying to muscle their way around a hole. They end up catching their edges often and getting frustrated with their inability to stay in control.
