How to refresh your kayaking posture and strokes

Spring is here, rivers are flowing, and it’s time get back in your kayak!

Dusting off the cobwebs can feel awkward so I’m sharing two videos with you.  The first I  originally created for my Whitewater Master Class, and the second I filmed just last year.

In the first video I review how your posture builds your confidence, help you remember you 5 points of contact, and refresh your basic stroke technique.

The second video introduces you to my favorite core engagement exercise. If you want more power on the river, you want to paddle from your core. In the video you’ll understand what that looks and feels like. 

Take these pointers to the river and get into that spring paddling!
