Content & Marketing Coordinator

Mind Body Paddle

Part-Time | 15–20 hrs/week | $26/hour | Jun 5, 2026

About Mind Body Paddle

Mind Body Paddle exists to change the stories people tell themselves about what’s possible, both on and off the water. Founded by Anna Levesque, former professional whitewater kayaker and World Championship medalist, MBP is a coaching, education, and community business at the intersection of paddlesports and personal development. Our clients are high-performing women who want more courage, confidence and joy. They come for the paddling. They stay for the transformation.

This is a small, mission-driven team doing meaningful work. We take quality seriously, we communicate directly, and we value authenticity and making a difference.

The Role

The Content & Marketing Coordinator at Mind Body Paddle is a part-time role responsible for keeping the MBP content engine running with consistency, quality, and care. This is a hands-on role for an organized, self-motivated marketer who understands storytelling, content execution, and what it means to represent someone else’s voice well.

This role owns the day-to-day execution of social media, marketing emails, podcast administration, video editing, and graphic design — freeing Anna to focus on teaching, coaching, and program development. You’ll work closely with Anna to execute content calendars, maintain and build systems, analyze performance, and ensure brand consistency across all channels.

Anna sets the strategy, voice, and direction. Your job is to deliver it with discipline and bring ideas that make it better over time.

Our clients come in ready to create positive change in their paddling and their lives, and we help them find their inner courage to move through challenge, and get results they didn’t think were possible – on and off the water. The work in this role supports these transformations.

Why This Role

This role has a rhythm to it. Most deliverables follow a repeatable process, but because MBP’s programs and content are always evolving, it never feels like the same day twice. You’ll have structure without stagnation.

You’ll also be stretched. Working closely with Anna means high standards and direct feedback. This is a role where you’ll sharpen your creative instincts, learn to think bigger picture, and develop the ability to take one central idea and tell different, meaningful stories that move people across formats and audiences.

This is a good fit if you do your best work independently, take ownership without being asked, and want a part-time role with real flexibility inside a small, tight-knit team.

What You’ll Do
Social Media
  • Publish daily posts across MBP channels, including a mix of reels, static posts, and stories.
  • Monitor and respond to comments. Flag anything that needs Anna’s personal expertise.
  • Adapt content from blog posts, podcast episodes, and MBP’s Brand Assistant. Voice consistency is non-negotiable.
  • Edit podcast clips for social distribution.
Email Marketing
  • Write and send 1–4 marketing emails per week depending on season and upcoming programs, including promotional, instructional, and campaign-based content.
  • Send the weekly podcast email to the list every Tuesday and assets to guests to share on their social networks.
  • Periodically update and refresh the email template with new graphics.
Podcast Administration
  • Create episode artwork in Canva for each episode using the existing template.
  • Create YouTube thumbnails.
  • Handle episode distribution and publishing admin.
Video Editing
  • Edit 2 instructional/mindset videos per month for YouTube from raw files Anna provides.
  • Create a short promotional video after each on-water program.
Graphic Design
  • Create and maintain visual assets across channels, including podcast episode artwork, YouTube thumbnails, social media graphics, event and program promotional graphics, and email newsletter templates.
  • Maintain visual consistency with MBP brand standards across all designed assets.
Website & Links
  • Update website content as needed, including program pages, dates, descriptions.
  • Keep Linktree current at all times.
  • Monitor the Roll with Anna opt-in and ensure it’s integrated across channels.
Data & Strategy
  • Track performance across social, email, and website channels.
  • Use AI tools to analyze what’s working and bring findings to Anna monthly with 2–3 recommended adjustments.
Additional Projects

This role will occasionally involve work outside the recurring deliverables above. That might mean supporting a program launch, setting up systems for a new offer, responding to a one-off request from Anna or a team member, or bringing an idea of your own to the table. We want someone who sees those moments as opportunities, not interruptions.

Who You Are
  • You’re self-motivated. You don’t need to be managed or chased. You get it done.
  • You’re organized. Deadlines, details, and recurring tasks don’t fall through the cracks.
  • You’re disciplined. You show up consistently, even on the low-energy days.
  • You take feedback well, own your mistakes cleanly, and look for ways to improve.
  • You bring new ideas and solutions, not just completed tasks.
  • You appreciate direct communication and aren’t afraid of challenging conversations.

Familiarity with the outdoor, wellness, or personal development space is a plus. You don’t have to be a paddler, but expect to learn a lot about whitewater kayaking!

Skills and Experience
  • Proficiency in Canva for graphic design including social media graphics, thumbnails, event and program assets, and email templates.
  • Comfortable working in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms), Monday.com, Slack, and Meta Business Suite for social scheduling and publishing.
  • Experience with WordPress and Elementor for basic website updates.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics to track and interpret website performance.
  • Experience with AI tools and a genuine curiosity about how to use them well.
  • Video editing experience — basic to intermediate. Raw footage to clean, publish-ready cuts.
  • Copywriting in someone else’s voice. This is a learned skill and we’ll support it, but you need to demonstrate you can do it.
The Details
  • 15–20 hours per week, with some flexibility during launch periods.
  • $26/hour.
  • Part-time, with potential to grow based on performance and mutual fit.
  • Weekly team meeting plus a monthly one-on-one with Anna.
  • You’ll need reliable high-speed internet and a computer capable of handling large video files and video editing software.
  • Access to MBP programs and content as part of the team.
